Putting together the second annual winter GTG and Possibly a MOD Day at my welding shop on the Cape

This Sunday>>>> Feb 8 2004
Last year had 14 Av's in attendance and performed many Mods to members vehicles, nice buffet and short cruise

We can go out to a restaurant or do a pot luck at Rich's shop. This year we have the grills so winter BBQing may be in order.

If we want to fit a cruise around the Cape and or lunch out we should meet early.

I'd say I'm a possible right now. I have some things to work out right now. Having some issues with the new bumper, the lights inparticular. I also have some things with the truck to check out. Lights chime doesn't work when light s are on and ignition is off. Oil needs to be changed as does filter. I have a couple of lite mods (SS door handles, SS inserts lettering) that I could do at the GTG, so I will try to get there. Also I will be ordering my new Dual Battery set this weekend, looking forward to making this GTG.

The 8th. is a better date for me, but not 100% sure I can attend. I will know better within the week.

This is the first time I saw this. I'm definately interested. I'm probably a 50%/50% chance of attending. Will probably make the decision that morning.

wish i could but the Cape is a little to far for a day trip for me and I can't get off of work for 2 days in a row. Would have loved to make it and meet more of the New England Chapter. The CT GTG was fun and a great bunch of people. (y)

Directions for Meet

The goal is to go over the Bourne Bridge
Rt 495 goes directly over the Bridge /no turning

from western mass
RT 90 Mass pike to Rt495 south

From NH
RT 93 / Rt 3 S
to 95/128 south
to Rt 24 south
to 495 S

From 93 Boston-N
Rt 3 south
to Sagamore bridge
Take R BEFORE the Sag/ Bridge
Follow Cape Cod Canal to Bourne bridge
Stay to right after passing under the BBridge

From RI
Rt195 east
to end Rt 25 E [not Rt28] exit 22a
Rt 25 turns into 495

When you go over the Bourne Bridge
Go half way around the rotory
Take RT 28 south to Falmouth / WoodHole
You go about 15 miles
changes from divided Hwy to one lane
After it changes, you go about a mile and come to a set of Traffic lights
Take a LEFT---Jones RD
Go to you SECOND set of lights
Take another LEFT--at Stop&Shop / Rt28
You will go about 1 Mile
My Shop is on the Right
You will crest a small hill, and see a white sign
Burlington Self Storage,, nee-high off the ground
Take a RIGHT, where the sign is
Shop is down the hill, and L behind the building
I will leave my Red AV out front

Another crazy week at work and I've been asked to stay in the area. Unfortunately I have to pass on this one, but I'm looking forward to finally getting up there really soon.

Well I was in.... until the weather has turned ugly and I had some ICE DAMMING attack my house and cause some damage. Due to the weather, I will be working this weekend to help allieviate this problem.

When is SPRING again??

N1NCZ was coming with me, but he has to work this weekend as well.

I will be bring my crew up there soon to visit you guys again. Just need to get away from work to do it.

I just wanted to pop in and say thanks for all the laughs at the modding gtg. As usual, I had a great time.
Thanks to all who bought liquor basket raffle tickets to help the kids get to the Nationals in New Jersey.
New England Chapter rules!! You guys are the best! ;D

attached is a picture of the basket, There was so much stuff, we had to put it into three baskets. Winner takes all >:D
