What: New Smyrna Speedway Avalanche Show and Cruise GTG

Where: New Smyrna Speedway, SR-44 somewhere between I-4 and I-95.

Date: Saturday, June 16th. Show starts at 5:00PM but we will be having a GTG with food beginning at 3:00PM at the Speedway. steampwr8 will be doing a bbq for us. The menu and food sign up is in the pre-race thread.


Here's how it happens:
Clubs must arrive at 5:00PM on Saturday (we need to be in place - motors off - when the gates open to the fans at 6:00 PM). Additional club members, family, friends (New Smyrna gives two tickets to each Avalanche on display  - up to 25) may purchase tickets at 1/2 off the regular price. Regular price=25.00 adults, under 11 free.

After a lot of phone calls and emails, the GTG at the New Smyrna Raceway is on schedule for mid-June.
It would be cool if there could be an all day type thing with food, maybe a band in the Speedway parking lot or nearby
before the race and show.

I have.  That's why I perked up! Then again, any mention of food works, as I'm so emaciated.
