New SS Stripes and Z66 Decals

Finally had enough time to get the decals installed. All the decals are customs from my sign shop gooroo. Haven't finished the back yet, but hope to do so soon. I will post pics. of those when I have them, but for now these ought to work. I also took off my Texas bowtie, and put vinyl on it to match the stripes.

As soon as the weather clears on Sunday, I will try to get a couple of more pics. I should have the tailgate finished by then. I already have half of it done, but ran out of material. Also have a couple of custom decals being made. I'll show them off when they are done.

I din't like the look of the stripes on the back, due to the raised letters. I am going to try to continue the stripes in a different way if possible.

Unlike JF my cAV had painted stripes, a buddy and I did it one weekend in his garage.  Cost was practically nothing, paint, time and a favor banked to a friend.

BTW, the cAV is gone now, it was replaced with a Grand Prix GT ( not as good at the pump, but much better commute car. )

Eric, the guy who did them, is going to work up prices for me. He is also going to do a modified AV club logo for me. It is going to be the same colors as the stripes.
I have decided to do a hockey style stripe on the side. It will appear as if the SS stripes have wrapped from the hood onto the side of the truck. They should be ready for install on Wednesday.

The reason I am not doing paint yet is so that I can try different ideas and colors until I find something I like. I am in the process of perfecting my airbrush skills, which may result in something totally different. Who knows.
