I?m due for new tires soon. Planning on Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 285/70r17. They come in load range C and E. I do tow my Jeep TJ a few times a year. I?ve got load range C now and it has done fine and they lasted about 50k miles. Would load range E be any better/last any longer? I know the ride would be somewhat stiffer due to the load range difference.

E load is a little Overkill for you, but some of them last for 80k if you rotate them. The down side of them is you feel every bump on the road because of the thicker sidewall and tread.
