New To Board Saying Hi Just Got An AV

Hey well i don't turn 17 for about 326 days..But i was awaken the other morning by my parents who said get up where getting your truck now.....i thought i was dreaming....it didn't hit me till i was driving home ( permit) in my brand new 2oo2 Avalanche....Apprently my parents went to get my moms truck looked at ( Trailblazer) and they saw it.....It's Sunset Orange amazing color.... i'm not sure whats in it right now...but i will look it up soon and post it....MSRP around 38,000 got it for around 30,000 Dad's works for GM gotta love it.....I look extremely foward to posting on here as i change around my truck a little....make it more "cooler" looking haha well i'll talk to you guys lata

You and bigredz71 need to stay away from my kid, becuase I do not have that kind of money to buy him his own AV. :(

BTW. Your pic doesn't work. Try editing your post. Can you include yourself with the truck while your at it? I am sure I am not the only one wondering what a sweet 16 year old would want with an Avalanche. (y)

Hi, and congats on the Av. Man I thought I had it nice growing up. I can't imagine if I woke up to a free Av. That's just too cool....Most girls want a sunfire or a beetle :D: or something, but not you ;D

Of course im looking to put on either 22 or 24 inch rims....... a superman sign on the back window and of course who can forget the pink fuzzy dice... I have only seen one other Sunset Orange and it was in Pennsylvania Maybe it was one of you guys :0:
 
Welcome aboard..and yes the 22/23 you were referring to would make a nice addition to your Av....I have a neighbor around the block with a Green Av and some smokin' rims.....22 I think... :B:
 
Daggone! It took me 40 years to get my AV!

Do they have a parking spot big enough at the high school for the AV?

Maybe I can deed my Av over to my daughter when she's ready to drive in 4-5 years. Unless I'm ready for a new one before then!

My two neighbor's high-school age daughters are driving a 1988 Cavalier and a 1979 Grenada. I think you have them beat!
 
I thoght I was the only 16 year old that had an AV AvalancheChick it sounds like here when I was 15 I sold my dad an AV but when I turned 16 I took over it and help pay the payments He drive a 1986 Lincoln he says it is classer than the AV... Ya right

My first car was a 67 Chevy Corvair Monza...I think you got the better vehicle!
