Oh what a Dumba*s I am. Yesterday I was pulling into a parking lot and rather then go in through the guest entrance I spotted a line of cars going in through the member entrance. Each car had a key to lift the arm on the gate so they could enter.

So what do I do ? I get right behind a Dodge Ramcharger and follow him in. Those arms are supposed to have sensors that detect long vehicles or trailers right?

I know have a custom 2" yellow stripe on the drivers side roof leading down the Sail Panel and across the storage lid.

I could have cried but It was MY OWN DAMM FAULT !!

That $ucks. however I was not aware of any sensors on them. If they do have them it might be sometype of axle detection, let 2 axles by and then drop the arm.

1) We need a photo of the damage to really appreciate what happened!

2) Drive through backwards and get a matching one put on the other side, then claim it was a little-known option!

Update !!

I went at it with some 3M Imperial and Micro Finishing Compound. I was able to remove all the yellow paint and surface scratches from the roof. Wheewww .

The plastic still has yellow paint embedded in the texture. Hopefully it will dissapear after a couple of washings.

I wonder if the fact that I had 5 coats of Zaino on the paint helped in reducing the amount of potential damage ?

Not so fast XRover! "Deep Bowtie" has just sent me this top secret spy picture of your truck with the yellow mark noted in the picture!

(now I know there are some technical inconsistancies with this picture but my spy photography budget is very limited)

Yup, the color of the paint is right on. The location of the paint is right on except it was the drivers side.
