Old School

I was wondering if there was an old-school SC offered for the Av?  I was thinking it would be pretty sweet to see the Air intake coming through the hood with the old school look to it.  Didn't know if anyone had previously seen something like that or if it was even possible.

A roots-style blower?  Certainly a possibility, but it'd be a lot of fab work.  The Radix is much like a roots-style, although I don't believe it's a true one.

I agree, an old 6-71 or 8-71 sticking through the hood would look cool, but that would require an entire engine swap and fab. Since those old blowers were run with carbs, you would also have to design some type of TB setup to adapt them over..

I think Whipple is making the largest screw S/C on the market, but you are looking at a lot of blower for a daily driven 5.3L or 6.0L motor...

Clever fab work could put a regular old Roots on an LSx motor WITH FI on top.

Fixed that for ya.... and that does not include "clever" electronics and sensor changes since I assume this beast is going to blow right past a 2 BAR MAP sensor..... Then we get into the tranny and rear gear which some are so scared of with even a stock setup.....
