So I installed the adapter today. It was pretty straight forward, everything seems to be working fine except that my cd player it not working at all. When i hold down the cd aux button the display reads initalizing and you can hear it shuffling the cds in the changer but thats it.

Just thought i'd ask you guys first before I call PAC in the morning. If they solve my issue I'll reply back. Thanks

Good luck....I haven't gotten a lot out of them on my OS3 Bose interface, which is working, but I can't get any sound when I hit the Onstar button. Hope you have better luck than me  :needhug:

You get anywhere with this?  I wouldn't *expect* that the PAC module would effect the operation of the CD changer but one never knows.  First thing I'd try is removing the PAC and see what it does plugged straight in.

Good luck!

AVcop778 - do you have any Mute wires from your aftermarket HU hooked up? If so, disconnect it and see if it corrects your problem. PAC wasn't very helpful for us recently and they ended the phone call with, "well let us know if you figure it out". Thought that was a bit funny coming from the manuf.

lt1jerome - Did you have any CD's in your radio when you removed it to install the AOEM-GM24? If you, you may have shifted them a little which won't allow it to play. You may have to take the top off the radio and adjust the placement of the CD's so you can eject them and start over. Just an idea.

I didn't have any problems installing mine.  The only thing that "went" wrong is that I was trying to connect the +12v line (small red wire) to a +12v source, which caused my radio to stay on even with the AV off and door opened.  I called up PAC, and the guy told me that the +12v line is to SUPPLY +12v, not RECEIVE it.  Once I disconnected that, I was fine.
