painting bottom plastic

I'm new to this form. i have a 02 avalanche and i saw some pic of the plastic painted and i just want to know how the paint holds up. if it chips or what. what kind of paint to use.

If prepped the right way, its the same as any other painted surface on the Avalanche. ?If you do something that would chip the paint on your hood, that same thing will chip the paint on the plastic.

Not really a do it your self project. ?Find a reputable paint shop that will off a warranty on its work. ?Past jobs have run members $750-$2000 for a cladded AV

And what DougD suggested.  LOTS of threads with pic's and results. As well as shop reccomendations, based on location anyway.

but dont be surprised if they want to charge you closer to $4-5000 for the job.
