Found some pin stripping that is the same width of the grove in the AVs cladding (1/4 inch). ? Sorry for the poor picture quality, it has been dark and raining here in H-town for seams like the last month and I had to increase the brightness on the pic. ?I?ll try to get a picture when and if the sun every comes out again.

I'm going to try to find a darker red as this is close to the Victory Red but lighter than the Cardinal Red used in the Stripeman letters.
The back cladding was done but it is hard to see at this angle. ?Just and idea to dress up your cladding for $3.00.

I thought about doing that, but have not got to it yet. I was going to hand cut and use the red reflective tape though.

How about some Texas Flag pinstrip ;D

For those with the Stripeman AV Lettering they have the 1/4 inch pin stripe available in the same colors on thier web site for $10 a roll (one roll is pleanty). I have a roll of the Cardinal Red coming in and will redo the stripes this weekend.

I thought about it. But cutting 1/4 inch out of the red tape will be hard enough. Cutting 1/8" red and 1/8" white, plus a 1/16th inch star would be very hard. :C:

And that's ALL that's stopping me! My truck WILL be obnoxiously Texas. :)

The Sun finally came out after weeks of rain, I was able to get a better picture this morning so I replaced the first one.

I used the paint pen idea for that groove thing. Goes on easy, stays nice.

Did it in gold and it works easier with the flat tipped pen. (y)

Since these pictures were taken I have added patriotic lettering and chrome door buckets. I will have to update my pics soon.

Peace,
Todd

Hey amd, what is a crome door bucket?

Any spesific type of pinstriping needed for the grove of the cladding

thanks

the chrome door buckets replace the factory door buckets.
Checkout my sig and visit www.tntavacc.com for information on them.

Peace,

Any problems yet with the pinstripping peeling off? Mine peeled off the next day. Looked awesome though for one day. I live in Chicago so the weather may effect this mod. Maybe TribalAv could give me some hints.

I did mine today with the 1/4" pinstrip, looks real nice. I took pic but the truck is dirty. I will be washing her tomorrow and will post pic's.

I have a feeling that this will not stay on to long :6: because it just did not feel tackey enough. I did clean the aera and used rubbing alcohole on the cladding before I put the pinstrips on. The blue is very close in color to my arrival blue truck. I will post pics after I wash her as long as the pin stripping stays on.

Does anyone know if they make this in reflective tape? ??? I have reflective tape on the avalance's and the chevolet on the tail gate.
