Pits in windshield????

Sorry if this has been discussed, but I couldn't find anything similar. I have what I can only call "pits" or tiny little holes caused by tiny rock chips all over my windshield. Not very noticeable unless you look, but I'm looking@!!!!! Any of you know if the rain-x will take care of it or if I should try something else? I just had my truck detailed yesterday and this is the only thing making my truck look bad. Yes, pics to follow tomorrow.

rain X will not hide the pits...

sometimes those windshield rock ding repair kits work if the chip is large enough.....

actually these are the size of pinholes ............ wax maybe?

wax would make them more visible as it would dry white in them....

not much you can do other then replacing windshield

Sucks!!!!! I'll try one of those repair kits to see if it works. I'll take some before and after pics just in case someone else has this problem. OH, thanks YGMN for saving me the humiliation of trying to wax them.

Glass place will use glass polish and a rubber wheel to get them out. Sometimes it will be cheaper to replace if extensive enough.
