ok, I know I few of you have the 2.1 million color glow but I see they now have the 4.2 million color glow ....

anyone have any experience with the 4.2 vs the 2.1?????

wondering if it is worth the extra $75 for the 4.2 million ....

comments??

Plasmaglow puts out a crap product. DOn't invest your money in them. I have the 2.1 and numerous other products. Warranty is hard to get and when it is covered you have to pay to ship it back to AZ.

My 2 cents is stay away from that company.

some day Plasma Glow will realize that people do talk and that a quality product is paramount to their bottom line. I have had issues with everything I bought from them. If you add up the return shipping charges I have paid for the product twice over trying to get it warranteed.

My latest issue is that I wanted a replacement display unit. Due to patent issues they can't give me one. So here I sit with a 2.1 unit without a display. I have to open my door and look down to see my pattern.

that's how I see it. This is not the first thread on this so i'm not alone.

I'm looking to replace my crap PlasmaGlow with something new I saw at CarToys from a company called Varad.
As soon I can find more info on their product that is.
It looks much better that the PlasmaGlow stuff.

If I was going with the multi color LED underbody, I'd go with this. I've purchased from this place before and the customer service is outstanding.
 
I have the 2.1 and I will say that it is not as bright as some of the other products out there. ?If I was to do it all over again, I would not buy the plasmaglow 2.1. ?Just my 2 cents ?:B:
 
Some of their stuff is ok, most is not..  Depending on where you bought it from makes a difference..  Any problems with stuff bought at new level goes back to them, NOT to the manufacture..  Great Customer service IMO..  Also great prices..

Stick with the tried and true  Streetglow.. 
And remember Neon is brighter than LEDs...

Yeah, Plasma Glow products are low quality pieces of junk, had my Line of Fire Brake LEDS only five months, already they have water vapor in them.? They are only guaranteed for, do you believe ninety days, what a load of horse manure!? They still work, but I will replace them with a better quality product. (n) :E:

nice reviews and customer feedback. Video of product is impressive but not sure if it has the coverage needed for our Av's sent an e-mail to see if the kit is expandable.

Yep, I'm pretty sure it is. I think the ECU can handle another 8 feet without a problem. They sell extra 1, 3, and 4 foot tubes.
 
What is so wrong with Plasmaglow?  They do give a life time warranty with their products. I have their Fire and Ice. ( I did have to send it back for a replacment, but the replacement looked like it had been improved over the old one.  Better seal)  I am new to lighting and I am trying to figure out what to put on my black AV.  I was thinging dark blue under lights but not sure on manufacturer, single color vs. multi and LED vs. neon.  I just want some suttle under lighting to use at GTGs and don't wnat to spend alot.
 
relablility wise many folks have had issues with the controllers, and some of the newer products..  Most older things are pretty good.. Streetglow normally performs very very well.  I have had 2 expanded kits on mine for a few years now with out any major problems..  Yes a tube here or there but given how many I have its pretty godd considering.  I was able to ship them to the vendor rather than thru SG which made me feel more secure..
There are several threads tlaking about pros and cons of each so it depends on what you want to do with the glow..
Make it move LEDs for Brightness NEON..

Yes that's what sold me on their product but I'm on my 5th Fire and Ice and I have to pay shipping to return it each time. Also one got lost in the return trip and they wouldn't honor the warrantty. There is only one person that works there warranty section. The controllers suck and the new controller can't be seen at night. What a pain turning on the interiror lights to check pattern.

Avoid the headaches now and look at other products. My 2 cents
