Anyone know of a good plastic adhesive which can be used in the wheel wells?

The liner of the wheel well is attached to the front bumper by a separate 90 degree piece of plastic which has broke clean from the bumper. I know there are alot of products out there, but I haven't had the need to look in some time. Any suggestions? I figure it needs to have good adhesion, but still remain flexible.

I suggest you go online and check with a company called Urethane Supply. They have automotive plastic repair products that have a great reputation in the auto body industry. They also have a paint for the Avalanche cladding.

2 part epoxy........Heck I would even glue something on the side of it to help stiffen it up.....

I was thinking about a 2 part epoxy, but all the ones I have used are extremely hard and brittle. If I used that, I think I would have more problems down the road. A light bump would probably break it out again. I still thing something pliable is going to be needed in this spot.

they do have pliable epoxy.....go to home depot and look I remember seeing some....it was special for something that needed flex....but I forget what......GO figure me forget...hehehe

ANd yeah FSU the SKYY Blue is going down good right now

you should work at home it makes life grandddddddddddddddd.....HEHEHEHE

Use a soldering iron or gun and melt them back together...I have did this with a few panels and it works great. GM welds (melts) plastic like this from the factory.

Identify the plastic chemical. I had to repair the broken off bumper of my old Taurus, Phord used ABS. I used the pipe cement and although ugly (matches the car :9:) it's as strong as new. So, if that's what it is, try it!
I don't believe the cladding is ABS but there may be parts inside the wheel well that are.
