I have a set set of 20" polished aluminum wheels. They look great for about a couple of weeks after polishing them with mothers aluminum polish but it is a lot of work to keep them looking good. Is it possible to have them clearcoated somewhere to help maintain there shiny finish?

Main One had a bad experience with Zoop Seal.......if you can find him around I am sure he will share that story.

I clicked on that link and read the customer review on that product and he said that that product is a waste of money, did not work. I am gonna check with some body shops in my area to find out how much it will cost to clearcoat my rims. hopefully it is not too expensive.

I'm not endorsing Zoop Seal.
I have never used it and don't know anyone who has except for Stacey David on the TV show "Trucks!".

I stoped at a local detail shop to ask about having my wheels clearcoated. I figured this would be the best place to ask for recommendations. He told me to be carefull with some bodyshops that might use a cheaper clearcoat, it can become a disaster. He recommended a place called rimpro. There located close by to me and quoted a price of $65 per wheel. As long as there are no imperfections in the wheel itself. I did however forget to ask about any guarantee though but they do come highly recommended.

Check around for powder coater.

Mine are powdered wet black for 3 years now I have some chips on them. But I am not very nice to my wheels! >:D

Best metal polish to use is manufactured by Nuvite out of New york....
I have used this product for 10 years in my business and it works and last the longest.....
Either that or when you put polish on the rims throw flour on them to get the polish to work harder....

Later.........
