It seems like there are more 2500's here than the build numbers would project - they are pretty rare at the dealers - so I thought it would be interesting to have a running poll to show the cross section of vehicles. Thanks for participating :)

Poll page gave an error message and said that my vote could not be counted so here's my submission

Z66 - 1500

I want to thank everyone who participated - it is an interesting curve - wonder if GM marketing folks thought it would work this way - the lots have a different mix than is in this club - maybe the Z66/Z71 and 2500 4x4 types are more group oriented - certainly better represented here.

Thanks to the Chief for pinning this up to get all of the responses.

That doesn't surprise me. I'd expect more of the 2500 owners to be the type to find a fan club site like this.

I've only seen one NF edition, and that was at the car show. It was as pretty in real life as it is in the picture brochure. I'd like to have one like that myself, but I needed the 2500 for plowing.

Is there a poll for favorite colors on an AV? Personally I like the NF green best, and I'm torn between the orange, blue and black for second choice. I opted for the black only because it looks a little dressier than the other colors.

Feel free to start a poll - I like black because it shows the dirt immediately after washing, that way you don't have to waste time waiting for it to look dirty again.

Have you voted yet?

I voted the first time, and unlike Chicago in the early 1960's, this site only lets me vote once ;D

I'd take Indigo Blue for first myself! :B:

Hey JAck down here we can vote more than once in Louisiana >:D

I also unlocked the poll so all the new members can participate in this poll to see where we stand now...

SO new members if you have not voted please vote....

FOr old members let's see how it changes....

FOr those who can vote twice.....don't >:D

I believe that the blue 2500 4X4's are rare. I have not seen any here in Sacramento in the 4 months since I bought mine. For that matter I have seen very few 2500's period. Kinda nice having a unqiue vehicle like the Avalanche and even more so a 2500.

SOM North Face Edition I love the truck. What a run around to get.

Ok, I have a black 1500 4x4. I didn't discover this site until after the wife and I bought the Av (for the record I wasn't interested in getting another 4x4 but the wife insisted) and I probably would have bought the Z71 package if I had to do it again. Then again, maybe not as I haven't taken the Av off road since the purchase about 3 months ago.

As for Louisiana politicians, I lived in Metarie for about 3 years and learned one thing. The roads are straight but the politicians are crooked. While there, Edwin Edwards was the governor, then he wasn't, then he was. I worked for Tidewater, Inc. which was run by a supporter and college buddy of his (John LaBorde). I just heard today that he (Edwin Edwards) plans to be incarcerated for the next ten years. In the immortal words of John Lennon, instant Karma is going to get you. ;)

Great isn't it >:D

I'm surprised the Z66 is almost 25%. Black is the color... keeping it clean helps me stay out of trouble....especially in dusty western Kansas, where it's finally raining:)

I picked the Z71 because it met our needs: 4wd, rear locker, skid plates, and 4.10 All the other stuff was fluff that I didn't want to pay for.
