Hello,

I am stumped on this one. I have the 07 LT3 with the Bose System. As soon as I park and take the keys out, I hear a thumping when I am outside of it. Has anyone else had this issue? It almost sounds like it is coming from the Subwoofer, but I am unsure. Is it not grounded correctly? Any help would be appreciative.

Thank you,

Not the same problem, but somewhat similar...

Every once in awhile, mine ?cracks? through the speakers like the power to the amp is being disconnected and reconnected, but nothing happens to the display.

It acts like a loose connection, but whenever it happens, I?ve been on a smooth road not a rough road. I would think that if a connector were loose, it would most likely become apparent when driving over a rough surface.? And it?s only happened when I?m listening to XM, never with a CD.?

With the Bose system in my Envoy, when the XM signal drops, it just cuts out and comes right back on. It never ?cracks? or ?pops?. I have no clue what?s causing it.? ???? ?

I have the same issue.   I figure the preamp sometimes cycles off before the amp.   Just keep your fingers crossed. . .

I just had a loud pop and than NO BASS.   It sounded like the subwoofer blew.   My wife and I were in the truck and the music was on very low level.   I am taking it to the dealership in the morning.   Any ideas???

Let us know if you ever determine the cause.? ???

It?s only happened a few times in the year and a half I?ve owned the truck, but it definitely doesn?t sound healthy for the speakers when it happens.

same here, maybe onle a half dozen times, but when it happens on a good song it sucks. It sounds like when you plug in your speakers on your comp at home and it pops. Very strange..
But yes, if I ever figure it out I will let you know.

Dang it, it did it again this morning.. What the heck, I would never be able to tell a tech what it is. Its so dang random.
Just wait, It will go out on the way to WVA and then I would have to listen my voices in my head.
