I have a Black 02 Z71.. So far I have the black WAAG brush guard and black bumper plates/license plate from tntavacc.com

I am going to get black nerf bars, and the black WAAG tail light guards in the next week or two..

You can probably see where I am going with this..

I am just looking to see if anyone has any experience with powedercoated wheels as far as looks and durability go... I may try to buy a single rim off E-bay to test with, but I'd hate to waste any time and money if people have found it to be a bad option..

I've had many different parts powder coated on Motorcycles and cars in my opinion it's the only way to go. The power coating is more durable than paint! Wheel's, engine parts, brake parts, etc. all have held up over time and keep the glossy look.

The only problem is the wheels will look better than the paint on the truck!!!

Is this where you are going? I pulled this pic from this site, but I don't remember where. But the wheels were powdercoated.

Yeah man, that tuck looks good. I am going to powdercoat my stock rims black, to put on my white Av. If only I could powdercoating to match the 03' cladding.....

That would look really good with a polished lip. I know this isn't a pic of an Av but use your imagination... Notice how the polished lip adds a bit of seperation. I think it needs the polished lip to add a bit of contrast to the tire. My 0.02. Here's a white one:

Okay... Maybe the vette's are a bad example... Nothing a little photoshop won't fix. Hope the owner of this vehicle doesn't mind me "borrowing" his truck. Looks good either way. I just like the lip.

remember on AMERICAN CHOPPER...the TEUTALS show they powder coat all their wheels and they look cool................

Good luck and show us pics..

Actually that truck doesn't have powder coated rims. I photoshopped that a while ago to see what it would look like. So you photoshopped my photoshop :)
