power steering

shaft to power steering pully snaped internally. Fluid levelfine, no lights on dash, On Star said no codes. drive belt intact, 51K on odometer. Chevy Mech on hearing the above said "shaft broke" as though he see's this all the time......

Have to say I have owned over 30 Chevrolets and never had it happen to me or any one I know.
