Question about using tape on your paint finish.

I wasn't sure what forum to put this topic in but I had a question.  My niece is in her high school's homecoming court and she wants to use my truck during the homecoming parade.  Of course she wants to decorate it with signs and all of the other stuff that they put on vehicles during things like this.  My question is what kind of tape should they use?  What's safe for the paint?

that should do the trick, it's also known as low impact tape
