Looking at adding the WAAG Front Runner and Rear Bumper Guard to my EXT.

Any feedback about quality, including the powder coating , and fitment would be greatly appreciated. I also see from their site that they now offer the product in stainless. Only one small pic on their site. Any of you have other pics from GTGs, etc. of the stainless product? Any retailers that you would recommend for purchase?
Thanks for your time and advice.

I have had the Waag on my 2500 for about six months now...

Fits well...looks nice...
Only negative feedback I had was that the instructions were bad...
and some of the hardware has some rust....not the guard ...the bolts..
Powder coating is holding up nice so far.....

I bought it directly from Waag...spoke to Sandy in customer service...
less than $400 shipped to the door.

Stainless guards are fairly new, hence not a lot of pics. Also found out a little while ago I can not use the rear guard because it will interfere with the reversing sensors in the bumper. Maybe a Rhino step instead??

The front upper brackets were not sized correctly for my truck. On the suggestion from WAAG tech support, I added a total of 10 washers on 2 bolts to get things to line up. It's been installed for a few weeks now and everything seems fine.

I went with both as well. No problems with the install, love both of them. Here's a pic. >:D

Thanks much for the input and the pics. Decided to go with the black powder coating as opposed to the stainless. Trying to make my EXT look a little tougher.

I had a Waag full brush guard on a Tahoe I used to own. The first guard rusted pretty quickly. I was given a second one because of the warrenty they have on powder coat and that one rusted too. I ended up getting rid of the the truck and have an Avalanche now so I can't imagine how bad it must be. Some of the rust was due to chips in the paint from rocks on the highway. There was also rust that just bubbled thru paint. I would go with stainless. I have a stainless one now on my Avalanche and it is great, no rust.

With the WAAG grille guard is it hard to clean the grille? I had a Westin on my 99 Tahoe and it was almost impossible to clean the center of the grille. There wasn't enough room to get your hand or a sponge in between the guard and the grille.

TIA
