Ran Into An Avalanche Yesterday...Literally!

I friend at work told me today the he had run into an Avalanche during his days off. Seems the Av driver may have missed a stop sign. Anyway, both vehicles were traveling around 20-25 mph. He said his rental Jetta was toast, but the Av was able to drive away, hardly damaged. He was very impressed and said if he had to be in a wreck that he wanted to be in an Avalanche (not MINE, I hope!). I will find out if the guy I work with will be in contact again (not literally) with the Av driver and see about getting a Club brochure to him!

Given the newness of the Avalanche, I can just picture the rental agent when your friend said "I was hit by an avalanche"
