Rancho RS9000X shocks

Hope someone can help me with this dumb question.Just got my new Rancho RS 9000x rear shocks. When adjusting the shock adjusters is #1 the softest ride on up to #9 the stiffest ride.Any help on this would be appreciated.  :help:  Joe
 
Also want to know if a steering shock would work out better after the Max cam lift on the front end,also installed Rancho RS5000shocks on the front end.

The steering stabilizer does take a lot of stress of your steering components...idler arm, pitman, etc. I think they are worth the money once you start going with any type of lifting or larger/heavier wheel or tires.
