Rear Bumper Question

I am installing back-up sensors in my truck and was wondering how much room there is between the rear bumper cover and the actual rear bumper (metal).


Does anyone know?

Has anyone drilled into both at once?

Depends on where you are drilling.....

you can climb under and feel.....

but I would say it averages about 3/8" air gap
