I have an 05 and am wondering if the rear door panels are the same as a Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon. I am looking for one at junkyards.

I have bought interior door panels from a couple of salvage yards I found on Car-Part.com

No only Suburban are the same or Yukon xl.

The problem will be a color match

Are the panels the same on Suburban/Tahoe/Silverado?

I would not know.

I searched for and found the exact door panels I needed for my truck.

Once I located the exact door panels I wanted, I paid for them and the salvage yard shipped them to my door.

Some tips I can share concerning part searches on Car-Part.com would be, start with a broad search for large parts on trucks of the specific truck you are looking for.

In other words, begin your search for perhaps a hood, fender or door for a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche.

This should give you a broad list of possible trucks to begin to narrow down your search.

Once you have a list of possible candidates, look at the pictures of those trucks and see if any of them have the door panels you are seeking.

You may not actually see the exact door panels in the photos provided, but you should have the contact information of the salvage yard that has the candidate truck.

CALL the salvage yard and speak with them directly.

The salvage yards can not possibly list every single part they have available on the trucks you are seeing.

But, the yards are in the business of selling parts and they would love to pick the bones clean of any of their vehicles in stock.

If you get a hit on what you are looking for, buy the thing and they will be happy to ship the part to your door.

It will take a little leg work on your part, but you will most likely find the exact part you are looking for without having to Frankenstein some parts from different trucks.

And as MS03 2500 alluded to, different trucks will have different colors and trim pieces.

I bought some door panels for my 2004 EXT and I found that even though the interior color of my truck was called Shale and the form and function of the door panels were similar, the wood grain trim pieces were different between each model year.

It took some searching and calling before I was able to locate the exact matching panel for my truck.

I also found that most of the salvage yards I spoke with did not have a clue to the subtle differences of the various trim pieces.

I came across this when I was searching for a replacement running board for my 2003 Avalanche Z-66.

While the running boards were functionally the same, the design pattern of the plastic cover of the running board was slightly different from year to year.

Luckily for me, one salvage yard was selling fenders from a 2003 Avalanche and they had a picture that clearly showed the exact running board I was wanting.

I called the yard and they were happy to pull the running board I needed and shipped not only the running board, but all of the brackets and mounting hardware.

So, the point of this long post is to invest some your time and do your homework.

That may pay off for you with you finding the exact part you desire.

Best of luck!
