I didn't like the chrome block style letters, so I took them off, then had to remove the bowtie off the back.

Found out real quick, that they put 4 holes, for alignment under the bowtie.

Had to change the letters on the side, and cover the front bowtie also.

That looks really good...  Did your letters cover up the holes on the tailgate or did you have to do something to fill them in?
 
The holes in the tailgate were covered here quite a while ago :)

The lettering does look darned good on that tailgate though.

3 of the holes were covered by the R, and one covered by the O, that's why the letters are a little closer together than on the Silverado tailgate.

 
Grnxnam must have helped with that mod...

    I see a "Paint Stick" (The other duct tape) in that photo!!  :laugh: :laugh:

Where did you get the "Avalanche" lettering for the doors?? And what model bugshield did you install?

Avalanche lettering for the doors would be what you'd order to go on the cladding of an '02 - '06, Bugshield is from Ventshade.
