Refinish Restorer Before/After pics

I completely understand about the difference - I thought my lower cladding was fine too until I RR'd the upper cladding.  Wow - what a difference. I do think the humidity makes a differencein drying time - and it's been bad here in Missouri lately. Looking forward to the finished pics  (y)

I got the first coat on all the upper cladding.  I have a feeling that the humidity here in Missouri is slowing the dry time considerably.   Hopefully I will be able to do a 2nd coat tomorrow night.  Thanks again MoAv for all your posts on this product.

You are correct, humidity will increase the drying/curing time tremendously.

Let it dry fully.    If you can wait a day between coats, all the better.

And if you can keep it in the garage while it dries thats good too.  It will keep any dust or from adhering to the surface.

WOW Stephen D!!  I think that takes the most improved award!!  We need those pics at the "poster Av" for the Refinish Restorer  :B:

It turned out great JSal69.    (y)
My cladding hasn't faded but after seeing all these great results I'm thinking of doing it just to get the cladding darker.

Already got some of my cladding fading... put in an order for this stuff yesterday. That last photo made my jaw drop off... this looks like some AMAZING stuff and having no body cladding I suppose the can will last me a long time.

Thanks, but those arn't pics of my AV.

Those are of STEPHEN D's AV.

I was just complimenting him on the great pics because they show such contrast.

Mine came out real nice too, same as all the rest.  This stuff is the bomb.  (y)

Looks to be better than the Real McCoy!

I just finished placing my order. I will be sure to take pics before and after.
Thinking my cladding looks good now... I can't wait to get my RR to see for myself the difference.
Thanks So Much... Av lovers
Very warm and Humid here in MN... Looks like a garage project.

Best go purchase some of the Blue tape and plastic too.

I finally finished the project today.  My truck has been parked in the garage for one week now and I'm having withdrawals.  Here is the pic of the 2nd coat:

Tools used:
CAR SYSTEMS REFINISH RESTORER
Microfiber Applicator Pads
Blue painters tape
Latex gloves
Respirator (must have indoors, and I even used it when I had my garage door open)
Budweiser (optional, but recommended)
Radio (St. Louis Cardinals baseball!)

I thought I would need plastic but it wasn't necessary at all.  I just poured a small amount in the middle of one of the cargo panels, wiped it around with the applicator pad which got the pad good and saturated.  Then I wiped down 3-4 sections before I needed to put more on the applicator pad.  For this, I just removed the lid, put the pad on the top of the can and turned it upside down for a few seconds.  This is all that is needed to get the pad wet enough to do another 2-3 sections.  I did my whole truck with two coats and probably only used 1" out of the can!  I was having so much fun that I did the mirrors, cargo rack on top, plastic around the windows, step bar, and misc plastic pieces under the hood.
