Removing Interior Plastic Covering

Does anyone know how the plastic covering on the interior column that runs from the dash up along the side of the windshield to the roof comes off? I have a rattle inside the column and I don't want to break it taking it off. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Yes, mine fell off, so it has a metal clip that slides over the trim piece on one side, and over the post on the other side. Mine fell down from the top first.

Most every plastic trim parts simply pull off. Start at the top and work your way down.

Start at the top and work slowly down....I removed mine for the radar detector hard wire install.....
