Sad Day For 2 AV's

Funny play on words, but under the second picture, it was said that:

"A fifth vehicle - a van on the second tier of the second carrier - also caught fire"

I guess the person making the statment doesn't know a van from a Suburban.

Just trying to make lite of a sad situation.

Is it just me, or did the cladding hold up very well for a FRICK'N FIRE?@!@! ???

I figured the metal would be all that was left of the sail panels...

Maybe Chevy should start offering a new Av color...

burnt marshmellow ;D

Like a Rock, a very hot rock...

they said a few were unsalvagable, wonder what was??? whatever it was should definitly be a bargain.

I'm pretty sure all that's left is metal.

I think you're actually looking at the metal supports under the sail panels, but I think the plastic was probably the first to go.

A moment of silence for the dearly departed infants...

LOSS OF VEHICLE CAUSES HEART ATTACK
Australia:

After hearing the news of two Avs burnt in truck fire, an Austrailian man had a heart attack, as one of them were on its way to Australia. The soon-to-be owner, a.k.a. Skidd... >:D

Just trying to lighten up the mood a little. It really hurts to see an Av burnt to a crisp like that. Hope whoever tghat Av was for won't get too sad. :C: :C: :C:

Even the wheels the tires were on are melted off. I'm glad I wasn't there to see that, I'm on that road a lot.

At least nobody was hurt.

David

:C: :C: :C: :C: :C: That is so sad! Those poor innocent Avs.

Two Things:
1. Did you guys notice that under that pic of just the AV,
they called it an UPSCALE truck ;D? That says
something!
2. Did you guys see that the tractor was a FORD >:D?
Surprise, Surprise!

Poor Skidd. By the way, I'm sure it's been discussed but when are you actually getting your Av?

Can I put my order in for one of the midgates? I want to try the 60/40 split, just not on mine.

Everything you are seeing there is scorched metal.

I guess you have never heard the phrase " as funny as a heart attack". A myocardial infarction never struck me as much of a "mood lightener".

Don't you think it looks like the bumper is still intacted in one of the pics?

I swear I can see the built in step on the bumper...

Check out the attached pic and let me know if I am crazy....

Looks to me like it's just the metal bumper that's behind the cladding.

I sure hope these trucks were bound for dealer inventory!

I believe you'll find that indentation on the metal sub-bumper beneath the plastic. Otherwise you would only be standing on unsupported plastic there.

There is life left in them trucks. Cut them in half and some work you could have 4 new booths for an AV theme resturant >:D
