Ok... call me crazy but I do find myself dreaming about my AV.
Yeah I know... I'm sick.

Anyway we were all (the Silver State AV's and the AZ Av's) rolling thru some small town after being out all day.  Coming around a curve we notice Nicks hood was unlached.  Before he was able to get stopped it flipped half way up,  3 or 4 of us stopped with him and got it closed.  Now a mile or so behind the rest of the group we picked up the pace to catch up.... nearing an intersection as we entered this small town.... I lost my steering.... then my brakes.  Once I jumped the curb headed for a small business I jumped out.  I remember rolling and rolling with my arms tucked to my chest.  I get up to find my AV smashed BAD.. It went thru a small brick wall on the exterior of the bldg and hit a heavier wall on the other side... the RT front needed a rt 3/4 clip. The left bedside was buckled pretty badly.

Thinking about riding my bicycle today.......

Me thinks you need to talk to someone about your dreams

Steve - it was just a dream - cause you KNOW I would never be in the middle of the pack!!

(I have a feeling your going to try and blame me though, because my hood flew up....probably sabatoge by JohnV!)

................you are sick dude.....

Nick

Nick, I wouldn't do that, I might put some dirt on your av though :kidding:

Steve, Maybe you need to let Felicia drive and you ride for a while

I think you need to come to Arizona for some personal counseling..

Isn't that what he was doing with this thread?

Steve, I checked out my dream analyzer book and figured this out.

First, you need to take some time off work.  This is sybolized by the drive to a small town.

Second, the book suggests spending time around water to rinse away the excess tension and stress.  This is in relation to the loss of direction (or steering) and  the inability to stop (or no brakes).

Third, it recommends sleeping with some type of background noise, such as ocean waves on the beach.  This is due to your struggle with personal security (or the unlatched hood).

Forth, there is the cleansing ritual that involves lots of Corona and Tequila, preferably somewhere south of the border.  This will help with the rolling on the ground bit.

And lastly, DO NOT DRINK THE WATER.  This is because you are going on a Mexican Riviera cruise in a couple weeks.  :abuelito:

Let me know if this helps.

I have two dream books.  One says about accidents, you should steer clear of vehicles for 24 hours, and walk for that day, and be carefull crossing streets.  (You can't keep me away from my AV that long)
The second one says to avoid any mode of travel for a short period, as you are threatened with loss of life.

I bet he likes my dream book better.? ? >:D

Yeah, my book shows some pretty depressing and scary outcomes.  I have had dreams like that wrecking my AV.  So, now that I have talked and thought about this, more than likely I will have some sort of dream about my AV tonight.  Normally, that is how it works for me.  But, as for these dreams, I hate those in which I am running in slow motion, in school and can't find my class or locker, or those dreams of getting shot.

If your AV has a sunroof, I'll drive it until your AV nightmares cease! >:D

I wrote this last night, and this morning my dream was getting shot at.

If you start having dreams of your AV morphing into a Ridgeline....and in that dream you are content...that's when help should be sought....
