Always wanted a mid-year (that's vette-speak for a 63-67 vette) and Maroon too - this one has my eye right now, it's not perfect (the hood is not correct for the car, but sweet looking nonetheless), just need to get the wifey on board:

Yes! Do it.

One of these days we will have a 3rd car....something like that, not sure what....

If you have the funds, and it is available....buy it!

Craig

One problem I see - Where is the Mid-Gate? ;D

Otherwise it is very Kewl! Good Luck With the Home Front! :B:

Yes! Yes! (y)

Just think how it would look being towed by your AV so that you can show off the vette.... Might have more questions about the AV though.... Not thats a bad thing...

My answer is still YES!

Absolutely! Do you have any more particulars for us ? Engine, options, etc.?

HELL YEAH...

If you can afford then by all means................

Reason I said the hood is incorrect is that the subject car has a 327 in it (365 hp version) and that hood (and its bad-ass bulge) is for a 396. Car has the 4 speed manual tranny, knock-offs, side pipes, p/s, a/c as correct for the car. Motor is correct. Frame off restoration in 2000, well-documented. TMU though, but recent clutch work and "transmission overhaul" .

I always wanted one, and this one looks to be pretty sweet, need to see it in person though, and it ain't close. But I fly for free. (thanks wife (y) flight attendant!)

Go ahead and go for it!!!

Everyone needs a serious tesosterone toy (y) (y)

Yes, absolutely, go for it (y) - great looking set of wheels - I know the feeling, I have to be dragged away from a Camaro everytime I go to the speed shop. >:D

I think he said he's already married. Oh, these aren't directions on how to find a bride....I get it. You are talking about the Vette. >:D

Jackalance, Like everyone has said, if you've got the coin go for it.
I haven't regretted for one moment getting my 'vette.
Everyone around me thought I was crazy for doing it until they got a chance to go for a ride in it. Then they understood the love affair with a great american sports car. Hope it works out for you. (y)

Vetman

Yes vetts are fun. I really like that body style. If I had to trade mine it would be a 66-67 396 or 427 convertible with 4 on the floor

For now I will stay with my 69.

All wallets will have to be checked at the funeral home, so... if it's not going to put you in a squeeze, do it.
I'm no spring chicken, and I'm still trying to get my dad to spend the money he worked so hard for. Never 'treated' himself to a truck till well after he retired.

Now me, I'm a sucker for a 66-67 Dodge Charger. Not a real popular car but as a kid I thought it was THE bomb. I hope to own one some day.

I agree if you got the funds go for it...best of luck with the decision!!

well the 65 vette I posted about in pic 1 is still available, I need to confirm the "numbers matching" claim (funny how they all seem to plead ignorance as to where the Engine Number is even located once you try to test out their "numbers matching" claim!). My operative in New Orleans that was going to do some on-site vette-checking work for me is laid up at home (get well soon ygmn!) so I may need to take a little trip myself soon, as 'net savvy as I may claim to be, I cannot fathom buying a used car sight unseen over the internet.

Yep, buy it!

OK... tell the wife that we have decided now... so she doesn't have too. ;)

So what does the fact that I bought an avalanche based solely on internet information say about me?? :cautious:
