Should this be a warranty repair?

I've searched the site and am not finding the answer I'm looking for.  My '04 Z71 WBH has developed a leak on the right front inner axle seal.  The truck has 31K on it, and is still within warranty.  I'm trying to figure out if replacing the seal should be covered under warranty before I call my dealer.  I like to have my proverbial ducks in a row before I hit the stealership.  Does anyone know if this repair should be a warranty item, and does anyone have a TSB or other reference that I can cite?  You help is much appreciated.

Still under Manufactures warrenty I take it..  Absolutely, Unless there was huge problemlike abuse etc..  Extreme offroading etc..  Make sure it nice and clean under there when you go in..
But honestly it shouldnt be a problem

mine have been replaced twice undr warrenty so yes get r done and any thang else you can find before warrenty goes out fix it also....

I just want to add that it is a covered component under the base warranty which in '04 was:

3 years or 36,000 miles whichever occurs first

And since you stated the milage but not the age...it is conceivable it is covered depending on your "in service date"...

edit:
On the other hand, if are out of the time/milage for your base warranty and you have the GM extended warranty, axle seals are also a covered component...

The in-service date was 07/23, so I was good to go.  The dealer didn't even give me grief.  I just wanted to have some opinion and or confidence before I called... So the truck goes in Friday.  Thanks guys!!
