Show your gas door covers here, PLEASE POST!!!

I had a problem w/ the finish flaking on it, but had it painted black....I still love mine...and i did finally get that little finger indentation filled....looks great!
 
Here is mine. It's a genuine GM  :B: chrome fuel door.

Thought I would bring this thread back to life. Although I've had my fuel door cover for a while, I just discovered this topic.

I just moved to Oregon and you cannot fill your own fuel, I have witnessed 2 attendants already, let the fuel cap hang on the cladding  :beating: I have been thinking of how to put a sign in the door to use the hook for the cap  :E:
 
Why not just step out when stopped to "assist" the gas station attendant? I'm sure many people don't realize what the "hook" on the door is for when filling the tank. If educated in a nice way they shouldn't think badly of your actions........

That would NOT fly with me... We have a loacl full-service, service station, but I'd much rather pump my own gas.

I have let them both know that the hook is for the fuel cap  :laugh: I know I make sure I use it every time I fuel up, and have even "scolded" My fianc? for it  :laugh:
