I see a number of you referring to putting the camper on the back and heading out.
How is that done with an Avalanche? The wings and the overhead rear light assembly seem be in the way. With the wings alone it appears I would be losing 10+ inches where the camper could be snugged up to the midgate.
Is there an easy way to remove the wings (I know, HERESY!).

Is there a particular line of campers that is "Avalanche Friendly"?
