For the guys that have been working on lowering the rear end.
When lowering the Av rear end most of us have had to trim the snubbers that fit in between the frame and the axle so that the truck would not be setting on the snubbers and give you a rougher ride.
I am thinking about putting my stock springs back on and went to the dealership to order a new set of the snubbers.............. Guess what. GM does not sell them.
"YOU CAN HOWEVER ORDER A NEW FRAME AND GET A SET"
The parts manager who has alway been super helpful is trying to find a way around it for me. I told him it looked like it was time for me to make a midnight trip to the dealer ship with a floor jack if this is the case. I was thinking these would be a cheap buy since there is not much to them.................. Think again.........
You can order the ones for a 2500 series though......Hope no one else tries to replace them and if you do, PLEASE give me some information so i can get a set also...........
If anyone has a contact with GM, could you PM me so i could email them about this..
Simply jack up the truck and reach in there and twist and pull them out............
