Anybody in the Southern California (Orange & San Diego County) area have any positive or negative feedback on Chevy dealerships in the area -- both for buying a new 03 Av as well as their service after the sale? Any tips would be much appreciated as I plan on buying one soon if I can get out of my Ford Exploder lease a few months early without too much pain Thanks in advance for the assist !!

In addition to our Kansas home, we have had another in SoCal and have for years. I have had good experience with Newport Beach Chevy(Newport Auto Center and Delillo in Huntington Beach. Picked up some items for my AV in Newport Beach in August..they were efficient and well prepared. Just my experience

We were very happy with Poway Chevrolet in San Diego County. We test drove a model early one day. They didn't have the model we wanted in stock, but got it from another dealer the same day. Later that day, we did all the negotiation over the phone. By the time we got to the dealer, all the paperwork was filled out.

All together, we had to spend 30 minutes at the dealer, not including the test drive. It was the best experience we ever had with a dealer.

Their service department is another matter.

I bought mine from Newport Auto Center lasy November. I was told by them that they are no longer stocking AV's

I just got my 2003 from Phil Munday at Quality Chevrolet in Escondido. They are a large dealer and got my order in very quickly. Phil is a very long time associate and a real gentlemen. He is the one who answers inquiries from GMBUYPOWER.COM

Thanks for all the great input. Right now I've sort of latched on to the Escondido dealer and we're trying to locate a SOM with all the goodies. The wife isn't too crazy about my color choice but I think it's just the word "orange" that brings up negative images when associated with a vehicle. Saw one in person in San Diego and I thought it looked pretty nice. I guess I'll have to show her one in person before she comes around
