for all of you that have a soft cover, have you noticed that the corner that has the elastic strap dosen't quite go down all the way? it's really starting to bug me and i was just wondering.

Yup...mine doesn't go down all the way either, but it's never leaked there.

mine dosen't leak either, but it's just disconcerning that it sticks up a little bit

I gotta know,
how did you do this, how much did it cost, and how can i do it, i want a hard top real bad, but don't have the $$ to shell out for it.

I would love to trade someone for their hard top and pay them a couple of hunderd for the difference.

Mine does the same thing. Never leaks though. Just have to be careful taking it off if the temp is below about 60 b/c the loop feels like it wants to rip if it's cool out.
As for the hard top conversion, if I remeber correctly it runs in the $900 range. I may be wrong on that though.

So I found out from the Dealer that my truck came brand new with the soft top! WHY IN THE WORLD DID THEY EVEN HAVE THIS OPTION FOR?? Anyway, Ive seen a few hardtops for sale on Ebay and Craigslist that I want to buy but.......! I want to kno if they're any additional pieces i need besides the 3 piece panels? Are any modifications needed?

This is what the dealer gave me when he ran my VIN #

if i remember all you need is the three panels and most importantly there are 8 striker plates that the panels latch into. Best place is probably a salvage yard
