Hello Everyone
Im thinking of getting my self some new wheels and i came across these very good looking wheels by lowenheart called the LD1 it said that they were a multy peace wheel what does that mean? and do they have a official web site? oh yes and i was riding my brothers truk and he had 22s on and there was no change in the ride and no rubbing what so ever. some people said that 22s would do all these or was he just lucky?

Thank You :)

These?.... here is the manuf. website

I would take multi-piece wheels to mean they are not one solid piece. They are a several pieces bolted together.

Hmm, I think I can answer this. A multi piece wheel can be made of either 2 or 3 seperate pieces. 2-piece consist of the center part and the outer rim. 3-piece consist of a center piece, an outer rim, and an inner rim. These pieces are then either welded together or bolted together. I think the only purpose of a two or three piece wheel is in flexibility of applications, no help in performance or the weight. I couldn't find Lowenharts website if they have one. The ride you get will depend on the size and type of tires you get but i wouldn't think with 22's it would be that much worse anyway. Hope this helps and don't forget the pics (y)

Hi, the rubbing question, or answer, is not a simple one. There are a number of factors that enter into the result
1) has the suspension been adjusted, meaning has it been dropped?
2) what is the offset on the rim (this onr got me)
3) how wide is the rim
4) what is the tire profile, two important factors.. what is the overall diameter. The stock profile is 31.6. A 305/40/22 is just about 31.6. Second factor, how wide is the tire. 305 means there is 305 mm of tread width, or 30.5 centimeters, or 12.00 inches.

Right now I am running 305/40/22 and I do have rubbing on tight turns, but I also have a high offset wheel that is a 9.5 inch rim,
