Good Morning,'
I'd like to find out of anyone has recommendations for a slim small speaker that can be installed on this side of this console. The speaker is for a Yaesu radio. I'd like something small enough so it won't be in the way of the legs of the passenger or driver.

It's for a ham radio. You can see the body of it within the console in the picture that I posted before. I want to mount a speaker on the side. There's a cutout where I can put it or I can just drill holes. Below is a picture of what the side of the console looks like. The conduit that you see is for the electronics within the console.

Have you checked with the manufacture of the console since they have a precut layout for a speaker.. Or at least post the dimensions of the cut out so if someone by chance point you in the right direction.. You also need to know what ohm and watt for the speaker to match it with your radio..

It's a Ram Mount console originally designed for a Crown Victoria. I'll measure that cut out when I have the chance. To the right of the cut out, just out of frame is an opening with a screen on each side or a fan. I'm going to order two fans since the electronics should be cooled.

As of now, I'm having trouble getting custom switches made from OTRATTW. I'm glad this isn't a rush project.

I think the Avalanche will do great in Mexico. With the Scheel Mann seats, it will be very comfortable. Plenty of space for a 6 week vacation/trip.

If you are still looking I bought plate components for a 1982 Firebird dash and they would work good there.
