Squeeking Midgate

Does anybody else have a squeeking noise coming from their midgate. At first I thought that maybe it was my rear window. So I tried storing the window, but it is still doing it. :2:

Only squeek I hear is from my wallet when I walk! :B: Is it from the pivot points down low and to the sides ? Maybe squirt some wd-40 at them and try that.

Are you sure it is shut all the way? Some times you have to slam that puppy >:D

Do you have leaks?

Could it be something under seat or seat itself?

Well I figured it out. I didn't have the passenger side of the midgate fully closed. But it still had a squeek with the window in. So I applied some grease to the connection points for the rear defrost.

No more squeeks!!!! (y)

Thanks guys!

I have a similar problem, except it is somewhat of a knocking sound. I have tried moving the window around to make sure it is properly seated, and I have made sure about the midgate being closed. But it still happens. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Where is the sound coming from? Top, Middle or Bottom?

I had a little knock sound... It figured out to be the seat belt knocking against the rear pillar.
