stainless steel brake hoses

Hi all
I recently had to do a brake job on my 2013 Avalanche so I decided to upgrade the system. I was able to buy a "kit" from Jegs that had Stop-Tech cross drilled and slotted rotors with calipers and pads for both front and rear.
After receiving them they were installed with no issues
I also wanted the Stainless Steel brake hoses but that portion of the order took forever so I contacted Summit Racing and they had them in stock.
The front hoses fit perfectly with no issues.
The rear hoses however turned out to have metric threads where they install at the hard line to the rear calipers. My Avalanche has standard threads on the fitting of the hard brake line on both front and rear.
I contacted Summit in reference to this and they sent another set for the rear however that second set also has metric threads.
For comparisons sake I bought a rear hose from Advance Auto and it also came with metric threads.

So my questions are;
1. Have any of you done this upgrade?
2. Have any of you had this mismatch with the brake hoses?
3. How did you fix it?
4. Can any of you steer me in the right direction?

Should be M10-1.0 at hard line and banjo fitting at caliper held by M10 fastener.

My 2003 has 7/16-24 in front and 3/8-something

Thanks for your response. I couldn't get back till now.
You are right about the hard line and Banjo fittings. I went to a NAPA close to me and was referred to a guy, A Gearhead like me at another NAPA store and he fixed me up with some Adapters for Brake lines. I am confident that these will solve my problem.
I also found out by him that my Avalanche is most likely an early model versus one made later in that year, which makes sense to me as the front brake lines fit without any issues and have standard threads whereas the rear also have standard threads but the aftermarket makes the rear Brake lines with metric threads

Now this begs the question. How many Avalanches were made in 2013?
My VIN number shows that my truck is the 243,665th truck made.
So what is the sequence the number of the first and last Avalanche made in 2013?

If anyone has an answer fell free to chime in.

Looking at standard replacement ACDelco rear left brake hose on Rockauto...
Shows metric used starting in model year 2007+
So getting 3/8-24 on an early model year 2007 is plausible.
But that scenario would not apply to any newer model years.

Have you owned this since new?

No I bought it about 4-5 years ago. Now that I have have the adapter fittings I hope to have a chance this week to get this brake job done. Also the battery went dead last week so I ordered a new Odyssey battery that should come in tomorrow Monday. Lucky I have the wife's car to run errands.
Thanks for responding.

Is there two short steel lines from the center hose to the caliper hoses??

Maybe the short steel lines were replaced with SAE lines and adapted to the center hose some time before you bought it??

The way it's configured is; from the ABS module it has 2 Hard lines, one for each rear wheel going back to the Differential. At the Differential those hard lines connect to 2 rubber hoses, again one per wheel. This would be to move up and down with the diff. while driving. Those rubber hoses connect to a hard line that go along the Diff. to each wheel which then connect to another rubber hose at the caliper.
I appreciate you looking up those parts on Rock Auto.
I don't think those lines were changed. At least I didn't see any evidence of previous work done like scratch marks from tools etc.
What I'm inclined to think is that I got the square egg of Avalanches.
Maybe during assembly they ran out of metric threaded components and used standard threaded ones. Who's to know!

Anyway I got my Odyssey Battery today, checked it before installing it and checked the Alternator when I cranked it up.
I had already replaced the Fan belt (engine belt for you young guys) a few days ago. It runs like a clock.
I hadn't realized how much I missed the sound of the Cherry Bomb glass packs I had installed shortly after I bought the truck.
Best Regards.
