I received my set from one of Chris' auctions this week.
Put them on last night. They look great. Real nice contrast with the black.

I did have some of the same type of tape and added a bit to the edges before the install.

Thanks Chris, Big brown truck dropped my letters off today.
Was in the middle of putting together a new bandsaw so didn't get to put them on today. Tomorrow though watch for pics.

Ok I feel like I've been on a snipe hunt. heheh
Went to Walmart, Target and every Automotive store in the vicinity. Also tried a paint store and a graphic arts center and no one knows where to get the really thin 3m tape. They all carry a 3m tape but it was pretty thick.
Any one know where to get this tape?

I picked mine up at a Home Depot, but I just left Lowe's and they had the 3m thin double sided tape also

Boy do I feel stupid. I must have driven past Home Depot and Lowes a dozen times while trying to find this and never thought of looking in either store. :E:

Would carpet tape hold them? It's really thin and extremely strong. And I KNOW they sell that at Home Depot and Lowe's.

It's for the avalanche letters. No tape on those. Would rather use the tape then super glue.

no the the tape will not hold to the cladding!!

Don't use the tape on the cladding, use Superglue Gel.
