As everyone that has been to a large GTG knows, A big hit for everyone is the cruises.

This year at STI V will be no different.

There are several places that are of intrest to plan a cruse to including:

1) River Street which is always fun to do at night with lights and strobes.

2) Fort Pulaski

3)The light house

There are videos of past cruises if some one will post a link for me as I seem to be unable to do so.

The will be a sign up sheet available at the welcome table at STI as well as you can sign up here. If one of the cruises has little intrest it will be cancelled if it seems one cruise has alot of intrest and participants want to add another trip to one location we can arrange that too.

Also if anyone has any other ideas of other points of intrest that would make a good cruise please post those ideas here as well so we have time to map out a route and gauge intrest.

Thanks
Your cruise coordinators.

ok sign us up for all..  Not 100% sure on the Sat night cruise , may have to hang back to get things squared again again this year..

thanks Pete ... didn't get a chance to do this this w/e ....

we are looking at doing the Fort and light house cruise Friday morning ....

do a pre-cruise to the river street thursday (I believe) ... but the big cruise is Sat evening to River Street ...

We are also looking for someone to video tape the cruise Sat night .... I have what I think is a good location to get each members ride as they exit River Street then maybe walk down River Steet and catch us as we pass some shops ...

Let us know if you would be able to do this ... remember it will be at night and most of us will have a number of lights flashing ...

thinking around 9:30 to the Fort and 11-11:30 to the light house .... and/or vise versa depending on the interest ...

Note: for those that have never attended STI you will pass the Fort on the way to Tybee Island ... it will be on your left ...

For those wanting to do the cruises, it is important (although not required) to have FRS handheld radios. We usually run on channel 3. The radios keep us in communication during the cruise so that if anyone gets separated from the group due to traffic or stop lights those who are leading will know and can slow up progress until everyone is cought up and back togather. :B:

Also as a side note: for those who have 07's..... I found that if your FRS has a head phone out jack on it you can get a cord that has stereo jacks on each end, and plug one end into the FRS headphone out and the other end  in to your factory radio so the sound runs through your factory stereo. I always had a hard time hearing what was said clearly and found this really helps out! (y)

We will try to do most of the cruise at night. During the day with the modding coordination, not sure I ll be able to follow. PokerGuy may take the kids to the the Fort cruise.

Can t wait to blow my horn under the Hotel.

Mike,

I was thinking to do the light house at 10 and maybe the Fort around 11:30-noonish ....

don't want to be too early for the late partiers that want to go ...
