that is how i have mine set up currently.  i have two JL 10's and a power acustik amp.  i will evently upgrade my system, but i am awaiting the purchase of a JL midgate box.

I just did that to my stock 05. You need the PAC AOEM-GM24 adapter.

Yep had it working in mine, before I replaced the head unit.  Take a look at the following link. Should be very helpful.

I did exactly that. Had a local shop do the hook up. I just don't have time these days to do everything. Mine sounds awesome. Don't recommend you do it yourself, unless you have done something like this before. Other nice thing about letting a reputable shop do it is they are liable for any mistakes. You mess it up, you pay for it. They mess it up, they pay for it. The shop I used broke the face on my climate control and had to replace it.
