Hi Everyone

I was just looking for part numbers for the driving lights for my '04 AV (ADL's) and I ran across this. Has anyone seen this? I think I feel insulted that they call this an Avalanche.

It's made by Holden

Yeah, rear wheel drive tire smoking machine >:D

in the high $60K's

I like the styling and has adequate power... but the steering wheel is on the wrong side ;)

That would make a good postal vehicle :0:

i don't think it's bad. especially when you convert the numbers

270 KW= 360-365 HP (approx.)

475 NM= 350 lbs/ ft of torque

you know it's lighter than the AV. so this baby will haul a$$ if nothing else in that small bed it's got. >:D

The Holden is what they are importing the GTO into the states with a Vette engine so think of it as a Vette/Avalanche

Not good for towing or 4 wheeling but 0-60

The GTO has 350 HP

I like the car.... if an AV weren't available and I lived in Australia not a bad option...
It would be fun to test drive for sure (y)

I'm with Jason. :D:

Beside, I'll bet it's not called an "Avalanche" after the GM Patent Infringement Team gets a hold of that group.
Joe

Holden IS GM ;)

no mention of the folding midgate. I guess holden AV doesnt have it.

*Calgary Flames would have won the stanley if they counted the third goal in game 6 * >:D

Dude, I'd take that! LS1 powered! And next year it will probably get the LS2 which means 400 hp!!!! >:D

Troy

Actually, the AV is LS1 powered. The LS1 badge covers the 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, and 6.0L/6.0L H.O. versions of this particular GM motor. Though the 5.7L would be a lot nicer than the 5.3L..... ;D
