more work to do!!! Car-puter is next!!!!

Looks good! I like those wheels to.......you have any more shots of them, and what type/size are they?

thanks fellas..

I got the grill from a local wheel shop here in Columbia, SC. I'm pretty sure you can find this grill online or ebay for less than what I paid for mine tho..

The bass from the 15's with the midgate up is not all that great, but drop that midgate and watch out! Im probably gonna end up removing the midgate alltogether because of this..

The wheels are 23" Equus. (i think thats the correct spelling)

jayteez, are you running your stereo off your factory head unit? I'm thinking of sticking with the factory head unit since my stock head unit is new and has the 6 disc/bose sys.

yeah..factory head unit for now. I just removed the midgate..4 screws.

I like the setup! Think about upgrading your system though
at some point. That bass will really shine. I have an alpine
system right now and I can't believe that I wasn't going to
touch my stock h/u! Let me know if you want to get together
at some point. I go thru SC sometimes on my way up north
to visit my mom.

Nice grill btw. Mine is still being held hostage! :8:

anyway keep us updated with what you do!

Aetatis.

For those who want to keep their factory units (and save some money), consider this: I put two Rockford Fosgate Punch 8" subs under the rear seats, an RF Punch 501S amp to power them, added a potentiator switch (basically a on-off-voluyme switch) in the dash, and replaced the factory door speakers with four Pioneer 4-way 6?" speakers to support the mids and highs. For the <$600 that I spent, I have a clean and clear system that satisfies my sound needs without taking away from my space needs. I have yet to take the volume past the fourth notch on the display.

I'm not trying to be the DJ for the entire block (I'm 33 with a one yr-old), I just wanted to have a decent all-around system for me to hear on the road.

Thanks for the info Omega 90, I am planning on keeping the stock head unit. I have the Bose speakers that came with the truck. I want to push two 10's...I'm not trying to compete with these young kids, I just like a little Bass every now and then (y)

Cisco, I smell what you're stepping in! As soon as I get my digital camera fixed, pix are on the way! Good luck getting those 10's in there. I'm assuming they're going in the payload.

23" rims must fit better on a 2004 than they do on a 2003. Here's a picture of my 2002 after I had my rims put on. I had to take them back 3 days later and have them replaced. Every time I made a sharp turn, the tires would rub in the wheel well. I had the shop put on 20's and they're no longer a problem. I couldn't keep the same style but I like my new ones better now anyways. They're similar to Jayteez but mine are 7 spokes. If anyone wants pics of my new ones, I'd be happy to send.

Here's my old 23's
