has anybody put any subs in their truck? the only place would be under the back seat but then you couln't put the midgate down without taking it out. just a question.

I am planning to do a custom center console. I have 40/20/40 bench so it will be easier. Then build amprack under rear seats. Still have full function. If it goes well I may build several if anyone is interested.

As for subs, we've got everything from JL Stealthboxes to subs under seats, it all depends upon your year model of Av and the amount of functionality that you want to keep. Let us know and we'll point you somewhere for info.

Benson- have you already come up with the design for the center console. I ahve been wanting to do this for a while also to my 40/20/40s. I want to keep the lid to the armrest, much like the JL silverdo console does. I think this might require some fiberglass work. I currenly have a custom .3 cu ft box on the tranny hump with an Solobaric 8L7. Two amps under rear seats. No loss of functionality at all. If you would like to work on the center console plans let me know. I have all kinds of CAD and modelling programs at my disposal.

No, nothing yet. Mostly just sketches in my head. Probably get serious this spring.

Hey guys, I just finished fitting a 8" boston acoustic in the center console. It was a pain but worth it because I kept the rear air and all the storage space.
