I am hoping to plan several GTG's for this summer, please post your suggestions.

Also give me an idea geographic location, we are spread out from all over, and I want to make sure we don't leave anyone out because they are too far away, or we never do anything in their neck of the woods.

Ideas I have so far are:

- Drive-In Movies
- Park Outing/Picnic
- Bar-B-Que
- Frisbee Golf
- Light off-roading
- Cruise to ????
- Modding GTG

- Camping/Canoeing weekend - a cruise up north, then camping, canoeing, campfires, hiking, hunting, fishing, you get the picture.....this is probably a definate mini-vacation for my family, and you all would be invited....

Well, let's get the creative juices flowing. I look forward to your ideas....

Hey Brian,
I haven't been to a GTG yet due to bad timing, but I've got one that may generate some interest. I would definitely be in if we can nail down a future date on this. Check out www.greatescapefun.com
It's in Howell. I was there this weekend to play "great shot", otherwise known as whirly ball and it was a blast. This place also has go carts, video games, pool, air hockey and would be a great family GTG. Not to mention it's all indoors so weather isn't a major issue. There's plenty of parking and some resturants down the road. You can also eat on site, but have to have the food brought in by them. The "great shot" game is a blast and the court can be rented in one-hour blocks. This game however is for slightly older kids-adults. Anyways, check it out, it's more fun than it looks and might be a good destination.

what about michigans adventure. Its a blast for all ages and we could make it a tailgating party.
Now that sounds like fun. Just think of being at the water park all day when it's in the 90's (y)

Personally, I'm up for a modding GTG. I'd love to do a few different mods (power lock tailgate, SnakeEyes to name a few) with some experienced modders. My modding efforts have to date been an adventure (see my post about installing the F#@% GM Brushguard). Never hurts to work with some people who have done it before...
