Be careful.......Where the deflector snaps into the existing sunroof drip pan....(large black plastic piece above headliner below roof that collects water and drains away).....

the drip pan has a small slot for the deflector to slip in .....well some how mine broke...so the LH deflector side will not rais up.....It is all messed up and is not sitting in anything to support the spring load so it pops out.....

Dealer looked at it....have to order the entire black plastic drip pan.....2 day job....have to remove entire head liner and roof mounted parts...then remove existing drip pan to install new one with proper slot for deflector....

PS...I did not do the spring tension trick as some have doner for the deflector...I have looked at it but did not do it.......IT seemed to break when I pressed down on deflector with my hand while climbing out the sunroof for a parade......

PSS...I mention this for those who are thinking of doing the spring tension mod thingy make sure you have some warranty left in case this clip thingy brakes when you do the mod.........

The cut out for the clip is pretty high up so I would say no...if he has a leak then maybe the drain liones hooked up to this pan are leaking... maybe....
