I'm trying trying to get word from those with experience...
I know that a body lift basically pushes the whole chasis down and that a suspension lift basically pushes the axles/tires down. Seeing that both gives you more tire clearance...you get more clearance by the size of the tires. I think the body lift basically is the cheaper way of getting a few inches of extra clearance. I also think that by having the suspension lift push everything valuable up (minus the axles/tires) is probably more practical or safer for off-roading. My question is when you lift the body off the suspension, can you still put on brush guard and other bells and whistles on the front. I wouldn't think they would fit. I'm still going to invest in a 6" suspension lift someday but I was just curious!
