Tonight on our news station, Channel 19 Cleveland,(FOX station) there is going to be some warnings about SUV's. THey gave a preview & said the roll over warnings are not the worst thing. Then there was a shot of an AV & I know it is going to be talking about the back up visability. Will post again after I see the report.

Yup, the news was about rear visability. They showed 3 vehicals. Jeep, Honda CRV, and Avalanche. Of course the AV had the worst rear visability. :6: They set up cones, Jeep could see at 8 ft, CRV at 12ft., & AV was about 20 ft. Gee, maybe I can convince my spouse to let me get a Snake eyes. ;D

My suggestion is that THEY watch out for ME! ;)

Directly behind is difficult... but I've not owned a rig I feel safer in

I think that on the AV the most essential thing after gasoline is a snake eyes system, I do a lot of parralel parking in the city and without it it would be a real pain in the neck. some times I look in al 3 mirrors and don't see anything behind me.

When Im driving I tend to not care about whats behind me... because no one gets infront of me >:D Ive been backing down the same driveway for the last 10 years, and its a pretty passive task...

I come from the old school. I work, give the family what they need, buy what I want.
I have three mirrows and use them. Don't park so close behind me. As far as the air, I will reduce speed to 60 miles hour if they will reduce their breathing by half. I tow, so I have the best vechicle on the road!
Only in America. ;) ;) ;)
